This is an exciting developmental role for an arts educator in an inclusive art studios in West London. This unique opportunity would give the right applicant a chance to share their imaginative creative vision with a variety of different learners. We’re on the look out for someone truly special – who has both a passion for the arts and an innate love of sharing this passion with others in an accessible, inspiring manner.

If selected you will go through an interview followed by a paid trial session before gaining work as an assistant teacher. At the moment, we are looking for someone with a flexible approach, who can help our art teachers for a few hours a week. In particular, we are looking for someone who can help on Monday afternoons, with the possibility to build more hours into the schedule based on our needs and your availabililty.

In the long term, many of our assistant teachers go on to taking ownership of their own classes, once they have proven they have got to grips with our teaching model. We encourage all of our teachers at the studio to bring their own unique artistic style to the role and welcome different personalities and teaching approaches – this is not a homogenised, commercial environment and that’s part of the magic of the Kite Studios. We are dedicated to offering inclusive, skills-based learning, in a safe, nurturing environment for all.

To apply, please send your CV and a covering letter of no more than 700 words detailing why you think that you would be the perfect fit for the role.
