This week Naila will be exploring the tale of Peter and the Wolf

Monday 25th January 16:00 – 17:00 – Portraits
We use the story of Peter and the Wolf to spark interest in the subject of portrait painting, using Cezanne as a master of inspiration.

We create drawings/paintings with whatever paints you have at home to create portraits of both old and young people – they could be family members close to you.

Tuesday 26th January 16:00 – 17:00 – Drawing Animals
Taking the wolf as the starting point, we use both the contemporary artistic team Olly & Suzi and Picasso’s one line drawings as inspiration.

Wednesday 13th January 16:00 – 17:00 – Beautiful Birds
The vivid dialogue between the duck and the bird in our story will lead us to the illustrations of Richard Spare and his beautiful prints/water colours of British birds and the constructions of Mark Hearld. We shall explore the possibilities of turning paper into flying birds with only a few marks, folds and cuts!
