We’re delighted to be bringing back our Saturday Create in Clay class. These courses are at the core of the Kite Studios’ ethos and perfectly encapsulate our belief that creativity and confidence are sustained and moulded greatly through the sense of touch. The Create in Clay courses have been designed to teach and explore all things clay.

Starting from learning about design, colour and form to the very nature of clay; the way it is sculpted, the different techniques that can be used to do so, forming clay at the potter’s wheel and even giving the students a chance to put their very own work into the kiln to be fired. Children will be asked to select 2-3 of their favourite pieces towards the end of the first and second half of the term to be fired. Please note pieces will be available for collection up to 30 days after the end of the course. Any items not collected after this time will be recycled.  

Please be aware that we need 4 attendees for a class to go ahead at the present time. If your class has to be cancelled, we will be in touch 5 days beforehand with different options for joining a workshop on an alternative date in the half term or a refund.
