Introducing our NEW Saturday classes at Kite starting in January. Calling all Young Artists, join our ‘Creative Growth Art Studio’ course, where children will create, collaborate and engage with clay. From throwing on the wheel and hand-building to drawing, exploring, up-cycling materials and discovering the joy of journaling.
The course aims are to expose children and young people to the widest range possible of the materials and equipment available, to facilitate the creative process and fire up their imaginations. The 2 hour Saturday Art Studio class allows students to develop these skills in more depth.
At the end of each term, students will go home with a workbook documenting the research that they have done, their experimentation, the skills they’ve developed and ideas they’ve conceptualised, as well as a final project consisting of a large-scale print or sculpture.
We require a minimum of 4 children to run the class. We are offering 2 places through our CIC every Saturday, please email infor@kitestudios.org for more details.
