Isobel Leaviss – Volunteer
I am a huge fan of Kite Studios. I started bringing my toddlers to the weekly Art In A Story classes over ten years ago and have since been coming regularly to support Kite Inclusive community projects and develop my own practice.
Auriol and her team offer everyone a warm welcome. I do not have any formal art training and they have all inspired and encouraged me to experiment, explore and above all to enjoy the creative process. I have drawn, etched, painted, stitched, wrestled with clay and experienced the magic of printmaking.
I have seen first-hand how much care the Kite team take to support each and every student, to draw in children and adults who might not otherwise engage in art activities and to help them tap into their inner creativity and grow in confidence. Kite Studios celebrates diversity and promotes inclusion in concrete and practical ways. It is a privilege to feel part of this vibrant, compassionate and creative local community.
We are so lucky to have Kite Studios in our neighbourhood.
