Our mission is to nurture creativity and inclusion through art.

We offer high quality accessible learning and development opportunities to everyone. And we use art and creative activities to bring diverse people and communities together and tackle barriers to inclusion.

Nurturing creativity:

We recognise the therapeutic value of art and creative activities and how they can support everyone’s individual personal development. Creative activities are known to relieve stress and encourage self-expression. By experimenting in a supportive environment, creative activities can help us overcome fear of failure. At Kite Studios we see students of all ages and backgrounds discover joy in the creative process, develop new skills and grow in confidence.

Strengthening communities:

We celebrate the role that art and creative activities can play in bringing diverse people and communities together. Being creative helps us acknowledge and celebrate our own uniqueness and diversity and value that of others. Being creative involves trying out new ideas and new ways of thinking and problem-solving.

Tackling barriers to inclusion:

At Kite Studios we are pioneering ways to tackle barriers to inclusion. We adapt our teaching and delivery to enable children and adults with additional needs to participate in our workshops. We sponsor pupils who cannot otherwise afford to access art education. We are finding ways to provide meaningful occupation at Kite Studios to young adults who face barriers to employment.
