Kite Studios will be running an After School art Club at the Good Shepherd in the Autumn Term for children from year 1 to year 6. We offer high quality art education and the sessions cover a wide range of skills and approaches particularly focusing on process.

Using a story as the framework children discover other artist’s work in context as well as all kinds of materials from printmaking to painting to pottery. Drawing from observation is at the core of many activities as well as developing confidence, critical awareness and collaboration. Each session involves ‘Good Studio Practice” from planning to tidying, to ending with a moment to rest and reflect.
